We believe…

  1. In God the Father, who created heaven and earth and everything in them (Genesis 1:1; Acts 4:24). He is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness (Exodus 34:6).

  2. In Jesus, his Son, our Lord and Savior, who was with God in the beginning, who took on human flesh (John 1:1-3, 14), who lived and died and rose again so that we might live forever through Him (John 6:51; 1 Cor. 15:1-8), and who is seated at the right hand of the Father in heaven (Hebrews 1:1-4).

  3. That Christ is the only hope of Salvation (John 14:6; Acts 4:11-12). He has all authority and deserves our recognition as Lord and Savior (Matt. 28:18-20), and he will return again to judge the living and the dead (Acts 10:42).

  4. In the Holy Spirit, who lives inside all believers (1 Cor. 6:19-20) and guides us into all truth, convicting us of sin and righteousness (John 16:7-15).

  5. That the Bible is the inspired word of God (2 Tim. 3:16), and it is a book like no other. It reveals our salvation as a precious gift of grace through the sacrifice of Christ (Rom. 3:21-26).  We hold no other creed, just the Bible.

  6. The church is the body of Christ (Col. 1:18).  It is made up of those who believe and obey Christ and have the Holy Spirit living in them (Acts 2:36-41; Rom. 8:9).

  7. That salvation is by the grace of God, which produces faith in Jesus Christ that results in repentance, confession and baptism for the forgiveness of sins (Eph. 2:8-9; Acts 2:36-41; Rom. 6:1-4; Gal. 3:27).

  8. That the church is led by elders (I Tim. 3:1-7), served by deacons (I Tim. 3:8-12), and encourages the involvement of all its members.
